I’ve been watching this, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (1997). When I was little I watched this movie over and over on VHS. Now that I’m older, I’ve realized the following:
1. Most of my ideas about romance/dreaming still come from this movie.
2. I was too young to actually notice back then, but Paolo Montalban really IS very handsome. (it’s also just my opinion, but I think he acted better in this movie than Brandy did.)
3. Bernadette Peters is a FABULOUS, FABULOUS woman. (also, she’s actually more beautiful than her “daughters” in this movie.)
4. I STILL KNOW THE LYRICS TO THE SONGS.
The copy I got is pretty bad and grainy…I was thinking of ordering a brand new copy in the form of a DVD from Amazon. XD
